Inspeerity is a Polish software house based in Białystok and Warsaw specializing in full-stack software development. Inspeerity has extensive experience working with large international clients. In this case study, we will describe the recruitment process for .NET Developers.

 

Challenge

Due to the rapid growth of new projects, the company was looking for three Senior .NET Developers. The candidates would be responsible for the technological development of the client's product, having excellent knowledge of the .NET and Azure environments, while also possessing excellent knowledge of English and well-developed soft skills for communication within the team.

The biggest challenge in this process was reaching candidates who would match the profile in terms of both soft and hard skills. The difficult situation on the IT candidate market did not make the process any easier.

 

Action strategy and recruitment process

We met with the CEO and COO of Inspeerity, who precisely presented their expectations for the Senior .NET developers they were looking for. The biggest challenge was the hybrid work model from the Warsaw office and the location of candidates in Warsaw, which resulted in the highest financial expectations of candidates, which did not always match the client's budget.

Our sourcing strategy was based on reaching candidates using the Direct Search methodology identified through the LinkedIn Professional Recruiter tool, acquiring candidates from Github, and from technology groups on Facebook. The challenge was to quickly reach candidates who are thinking about changing jobs in a very competitive IT market and to verify their soft skills.

Effects

The .NET Developer recruitment process, especially for the Senior .NET Developer position, is a fascinating challenge that requires extremely precise actions. These activities include: accurate market mapping, developing an effective communication strategy for candidates, reaching a wide group of potential candidates to check their readiness to change jobs, and effectively conveying the "message" of the new employer.

Thanks to a consistent approach, in line with the strategy, and effective, multi-channel communication with candidates, we conducted interviews with over 20 Senior .NET Developers. We presented twelve of them to Inspeerity, which decided to hire three of our candidates. The .NET Developer recruitment for Inspeerity turned out to be an exceptional project in 2021. Searching for Senior Developers for clients specializing in custom software development is always a big challenge, and acquiring them gives us great satisfaction.
