By focusing on delivering modern mobile solutions, our client appeals to a wide range of users worldwide. This case study will present the recruitment process for a Chief Marketing Officer.
Recruitment Chief Marketing Officer is a challenge
In the context of its ambitious goals, our client needed an exceptionally qualified Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The main challenge in this project was finding an experienced CMO who would not only have in-depth knowledge and experience in mobile application marketing but also specialized knowledge in User Acquisition (UA) in various international markets. Finding such a person was crucial for the further development and expansion of the startup in the global mobile application market.
Chief Marketing Officer Recruitment Process
We drew inspiration from other completed projects where we successfully found candidates to accelerate our clients' expansion into international markets, and we applied similar strategies and approaches.
Client needs analysis: We started with an in-depth analysis of the client's needs to understand the specifics of the CMO role in the context of their business and the mobile application industry.
Building a candidate profile: Based on the information gathered, we created a detailed profile of the ideal candidate, considering not only experience in marketing and UA but also team management and marketing strategy skills.
Candidate search: We used our extensive network of contacts and advanced sourcing tools to reach candidates from around the world who met the established criteria.
Selection process: We conducted a series of interviews and assessments to verify the candidates' competencies and experience, focusing on their previous successes in UA and mobile application marketing. At the client's request, we organized Facet5 personality tests for the Management Board as well as for the short–list of candidates to minimize the risk of unsuccessful recruitment.
Confidential recruitment: At the Client's request, we did not reveal the company name to candidates in the initial phase of the project. Only after confirming the competencies sought in the candidates, we signed NDAs with the best candidates on behalf of the Client. This allowed us to protect the confidentiality of the project.
Presentation of candidates: We selected the 7 best candidates and presented them to our client, providing detailed information about their experience and skills.
Support in the final decision: We actively supported the client in the decision-making process, actively participating in each client interview with candidates, providing additional information and recommendations.

Thanks to our commitment and specialized approach, we were able to find and hire the ideal candidate for the CMO position.
