Our client, a global Fintech: Ebury is a rapidly growing company specializing in financial and foreign exchange solutions for businesses. Headquartered in London, Ebury has a global reach, offering its services in many international markets. The company is known for its innovative approach to finance, and its mission is to facilitate international business transactions for companies

Challenge

Ebury was looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to contribute to the company's growth in the Czech market. The Czech market is very specific - candidates for sales positions are rarely interested in changing jobs, and unemployment in Prague for these positions is virtually zero. The ideal candidate should have possessed not only deep knowledge of the local financial market, but also skills in building business relationships and developing sales strategies. In addition, it was important for the candidate to have experience working in an international environment and fluency in Czech and English

 

 Action strategy and recruitment process

Due to the nature of the position and the requirements of the Czech market, Ebury decided to use our recruitment agency. The recruitment process included:

Needs and market analysis: We began with an in-depth analysis of Ebury's needs and the specifics of the Czech market.
Active candidate search: We used our extensive network of contacts and databases to identify potential candidates. Due to low unemployment and a lack of interest in changing jobs among candidates, we had to conduct as many as three rounds of recruitment campaigns.
Pre-screening: We pre-screened candidates, assessing their experience, skills and fit with Ebury's culture.
Interviews and assessment: We organized a series of online interviews after the interviews were conducted in English to accurately assess candidates' competencies and potential.
Candidate presentation: We presented the best candidates to Ebury, along with detailed recommendations and analysis of the

Our sourcing strategy was based on reaching out to candidates using Direct Search methodologies identified through Linkedin Professional Recruiter tool, Dripify, and searching them in our unique candidate database in the Sales International category; created through the most modern recruitment tools available on the market today. We then prepared a recruitment campaign with specific parameters and a sequence of emails. The challenge was to reach candidates who are thinking about a job change and at the same time have sales competencies along with an understanding of the financial and currency markets and live in Prague. As it happens with this segment of candidates - responsiveness was quite low, but Fast Forwad Solutions specializes in "difficult recruiting" so we picked up the gauntlet with this challenge.

Effects

Within 3 weeks, we delivered 8 profiles that we felt best matched Ebury's requirements and expectations for candidates with sales experience, in the financial markets. The client had the opportunity to meet with each candidate we presented, and selected the person for whom working in the new role was the next step in their career, allowing them to leverage their sales experience and achieve their professional goals.
